In this episode, we will be having an in-depth discussion with Daniel Tay, Founder and Chief Master Trainer of Bestminds, and the first expert in Meta-Learning in Singapore.

Daniel is a biologist and a professional educator who taught in MOE as a classroom teacher. Daniel combines over a decade of real-world teaching practice with neuro-science principles to create frameworks to shorten the learning curve. His frameworks help you achieve more with less time. He was also personally trained by Prof Tony Buzan in Mind Mapping and is a well-known global expert in mind-mapping. He is an ACTA-certified Adult Educator and has a postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore.

Daniel’s works are also cited by education specialist Lucas Gruez in the Ministry of Education in France. His works are also published in the books of learning experts like Dr. Roy Andersen, Dr. Eric Jensen and Dr. Nic Andela. Daniel also invented the world's first meta-learning framework which covers studying, understanding and memory in a scientific, systematic and comprehensive manner.

Daniel enrolled at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and then Nanyang Technological University. He later went on to take Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education. He worked for the Ministry of Education from 2012 to 2017 as a Professional Educator and left after getting his 5-year Long Service Award.
